Supporting Nature Recovery In The West Of England – Business Workshop

Does your organisation want to help restore nature in the West of England? Is your business interested in shaping the priorities for nature recovery in the region over the coming years?
In partnership with the West of England Combined Authority, Bristol Green Capital Partnership invites businesses from across the West of England (including North Somerset) to a business workshop at 2pm on 31 October, to inform the development of the region’s Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS) and find out how they can play an active role in nature restoration.
Once published, the LNRS will set the strategic direction for nature recovery in the region, identifying the desired outcomes and priorities for restoring nature in the West of England and how they could be delivered.
Businesses have a crucial role in nature recovery through investing in the natural environment and supporting nature around the workplace and in local communities.
The team developing the strategy are keen to hear businesses’ priorities for investing in nature and how they could be supported to do more to help shape the strategy as it develops.
At the workshop, participants will hear about the development of the LNRS, the benefits it will bring to nature in the region, and how businesses can play a role.
We will also come together to explore:
- How businesses are seeking to support nature
- How the LNRS could help businesses do more
- What parts of the region are priorities for businesses
The insights gathered from this workshop will directly impact the development of the LNRS and enable a coordinated effort to restore nature in the region.
