Side Quest 2020

Side Quest is a brand new event aimed at young people looking to join the videogames industry. You don’t need an expensive ticket or to travel halfway across the country as Side Quest is totally free and live-streamed onto your laptop or tablet.

Taking place on the 4th and 5th of March during National Careers Week, the event will showcase the hugely varied range of job roles the games industry offers, with career stories, game design masterclasses and pro tips on how to get ahead and make your portfolio stand out. All the talks will be available one month later on Youtube, again, for free!

The talks take place in Access Creative colleges around the UK in Manchester, London, Bristol, Norwich, Birmingham, and Lincoln to small audiences of students aged 16-21.

Side Quest is run by, Into Games and UKIE. Into Games is a non-profit organisation set up with the sole intention of making the games industry a more accessible place, creating a more fertile career ground for those from underrepresented groups.
