Employment & Skills Hubs with Opportunity North Somerset

Launched on the 17th May, Employment & Skills Hubs are now available in library spaces for residents to gain advice and support on their next steps towards finding a new position or accessing courses and training.
North Somerset is home to a wide variety of services for anyone looking to learn new skills, build on existing talents, or receive support with employability or training. Residents can now access impartial advice about which available options will best suit their needs through the Opportunity North Somerset Hubs.
The Employment & Skills Hubs provide residents with the opportunity to meet with providers one on one, find out more about wider services, and outline a pathway to progression.
The service covers five main areas:
- Careers and job support
- Youth wellbeing and employment support
- Digital inclusion support
- Business start-up support
- Wellbeing Support
Each Hub will have a dedicated day, focusing on one of the above areas, and are available at the following libraries:
- Weston Central Library
- For All Healthy Living Centre Library
- Clevedon Library
- Portishead Library
- Pill Library
