WorkWell: Empowering Employement for Health and Wellbeing
15th November 2024
WorkWell is a service designed to assist employers and individuals facing health conditions or disabilities in the following ways:
- Returning to or remaining in work
- Finding and accessing employment opportunities
- Referring or directing individuals to various local services
Our service features a team of trained Work and Health Coaches who provide short-term, light-touch support tailored to help individuals with their specific needs, enabling them to return, remain, or succeed in their jobs.
Through WorkWell, individuals can develop a personalized support plan based on their current needs, health conditions, or disabilities, along with any additional assistance they may require. We collaborate with various organizations across the Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire region to provide cohesive support for each individual.
The WorkWell scheme emphasizes the importance of early intervention in helping individuals stay in or return to work promptly. By prioritizing proactive measures, we aim to prevent prolonged absences from work and promote sustainable employment.
The program is particularly focused on individuals submitting their second fit note or those who have been off sick for less than 12 weeks. Additionally, it offers dedicated resources and support for employers.
WorkWell has the potential to create efficiencies and cost savings for businesses by reducing sickness-related absences, boosting employee morale and productivity, and providing a valuable benefit for prospective employees.
Best of all, the WorkWell scheme is free, independent, and easy to access!
