FREE Carbon Literacy Training for SME and VCSE organisations

On 4th December 2023, North Somerset Council delivered free Carbon Literacy training for SMEs and VCSEs for Carbon Literacy Action Day, which was the largest in-person event for the day, and were awarded the CLAD Catalyst Award for the training and its impact. We now have the opportunity to deliver another (online) course to SMEs and VCSEs in North Somerset. The full carbon literacy course will take 7-8 hours and will be delivered via Teams. This is a FREE full-day training session, delivered by our carbon literacy trainer, and is an opportunity to understand the causes and effects of climate change and how it may affect your business or organisation, and what can be done to address the impacts.
When you have completed the course, you will receive a certificate to confirm you are carbon literate, and we will be happy to give you further guidance if you wish to become a Carbon Literate Organisation. This course would normally cost £125 per person but we are offering this course for FREE, under our UKSPF programme.
