Free support for North Somerset businesses through Business Support Unlocked

Business Support Unlocked is a free at the point of access pre-start, early growth, and business resilience programme that provides North Somerset businesses with a package of flexible and accessible support to help them overcome challenges and succeed well into the future.

This support includes:

• A 3.5 day Starting in Business Course that offers foundational insights into starting your own business. The course is delivered online, with 7 sessions over 4 days, and provides information and guidance to help deal with key issues that are going to be fundamental to the performance and success of the early stages of your new enterprise.

• 1-1 Advice Sessions that are flexibly delivered through face to face appointments, by phone, or even via online platforms so you can get the advice you need in the manner that works for you. There is also a manned telephone advice service available Mon-Fri 9am-5pm to deal with any ad-hoc enquiries. The face to face sessions available at a wide range of outreach locations across the region including: the hive, Clevedon and Portishead libraries, Clevedon and Weston Job Centres, The Stable, The Other Place, We Are Super, The For All Healthy Living Centre, the NS community hubs and Citizens Advice.

Business Support Unlocked is delivered by the hive and commissioned by North Somerset Council, through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
