The Workforce for the Future programme is a free support service that helps you secure the right resource for your business – such as an apprentice, intern, or work placement.
You will be supported to:
- Identify what type of placement, including apprenticeships, is best for your business’ needs and where to find them.
- Access financial support to fund the role.
- Prepare for the role and recruit the right candidate.
One of the biggest benefits of running an apprenticeship scheme is that it
helps create a dedicated, loyal workforce. Most apprentices are young school or
college leavers, meaning that they have lots of energy with which to learn the
ways of your business as you help them climb the career ladder within your
organisation. 86% employers said apprenticeships helped them develop skills
relevant to their organisation.

have an easily accessible pool of fresh talent and apprentices you can tap into
today, and with financial incentives available, it’s a very easy and
financially effective way to hire new staff.
