Skills Support for Residents with Opportunity North Somerset

North Somerset is home to a wide variety of services for anyone looking to learn new skills, build on existing talents, or receive support with employability or training. Residents can now access impartial advice about which available options will best suit their needs through Opportunity North Somerset.
This support will be available through employability hubs situated in library spaces across the region. The hubs will provide residents with the opportunity to meet with providers one on one, find out more about wider services, and outline a pathway to progression.
The service will cover five main areas:
- Careers and job support
- Youth wellbeing and employment support
- Digital inclusion support
- Business start-up support
- Wellbeing Support
Each hub will have a dedicated day, focusing on one of the above areas.
