FoodWorks regional centre for excellence in food and drink

Despite the ongoing restrictions four of the twelve business units are now let and a further four units are under-offer which is an amazing achievement. This now leaves just a handful of smaller units.

The new specialist bakery facility is now complete and is ready to hire alongside the commercial and trial kitchens. These facilities can be hired by the day and have proven to be very popular, with a host of local start-ups and those businesses who have diversified during Covid and need additional kitchen space.

A new and highly experienced Senior Technical & Site Manager, Rachel Goff, joined The Food Works team in December. Rachel will be overseeing the site as well as supporting food and drink businesses with business and technical support. The highly successful webinar programme will continue in 2021 and is open to any food and drink businesses that takes up membership.

The Innovation Centre remains open during lockdown, Monday-Friday, 9.00 – 4.00pm for businesses wanting to use the development kitchens, access technical support or view the remaining business units. For more information, please visit:
