Made in North Somerset E-Commerce website

We’d like to encourage any North Somerset food, drink or creative producers to join our Made in North Somerset e-commerce site where there is the facility for businesses to offer both a collection and delivery service. Businesses can opt to add as many or as few products as they wish and the site can be used to compliment existing e-commerce and social media presence to maximise their exposure.

There is no fee to join the site but a small admin fee of 1.5% is charged on sales to cover the costs of the setting up the website, admin support, hosting and security. The payment provider, Unify, charges 1.3% on card transactions. So for a £50 sale there would be an approx £1.60 overall charge. If a business does not make any sales through the site there is nothing to pay. Subscribers are given a user guide but the We are Locals team are on hand to support any businesses getting started.

To join the Made in North Somerset marketplace businesses can complete the online form which gives the We Are Locals team all the necessary info to set up a username and password needed to create that businesses online shop which they have complete control over but there is still no commitment at this stage.
