Hello from North Somerset Sustainable Business Club!

Firstly, a big thank you to everyone who came to the inaugural get together on 23rd September – we hope you enjoyed meeting each other as much as we did! There seemed to be some good discussions and networking. And if you asked us to add you to our mailing list, we’ve done so and you’re getting this email!

We’ve got a few things to tell you, so let’s dive in…

Some of you suggested that it would be good to have a topic to focus discussions, so we thought we’d try it! We’re going with “suppliers and service providers”. Perhaps think about any changes you’ve made to make your supply chain greener or more ethical. Can you identify positive outcomes for your business from these changes? We’d welcome your thoughts, and perhaps you can share your experience with us all at the event.

We’re heading back to Loves Cafe as our venue this time, as we felt that most people could easily get to it. In the future, we’d like to head to different venues around North Somerset, and preferably ones that are within easy reach of public transport to avoid too many car journeys. If you have any suggestions for venues, we’d love to hear from you.
