North Somerset and Somerset employers are invited to attend a free Disability Confident event on Thursday 10 July 2025, from 10am to 12.30pm at the Victoria Park Community Hub, Victoria Park Drive, Bridgwater, TA6 7AS.

This informative and engaging session is designed to help businesses understand the benefits of hiring and supporting disabled people and those with health conditions. Whether you’re just starting your Disability Confident journey or already signed up to the scheme, this event will offer valuable insights and practical guidance.

You’ll hear:

• Real stories from employers and employees

• Useful information to support inclusive recruitment

• Opportunities to network with local businesses and DWP colleagues

The event is delivered in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions, North Somerset Council, Somerset Council, and Seetec. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
