Event: Hopeful Futures for Creative Innovation Bristol+Bath Final Report

Bristol+Bath Creative R+D are delighted to invite you to the launch of their final project report Hopeful Futures for Creative Innovation, capturing the story of five years of support for creative technology innovation in the vibrant creative ecosystem of Bristol and Bath.

Join on Wednesday October 4, at Watershed Cinema 3 from 2-5pm, with drinks at Watershed 5-7pm.

Between 2018 and 2023, Bristol+Bath Creative R+D dedicated £3.4m to supporting creatives, artists, technologists, makers, businesses and individuals to develop work using new and emerging technologies. They focussed on questions of inclusion, care, and responsibility in how they imagine, design, and realise creative ideas. Encouraged their funded teams to focus on the social, political, and cultural impacts of technologies, not solely on market success. Above all, strived to keep people at the heart of all work.

Join to hear from participants about their work, and from members of the B+B team as they share their work designing processes and practices to support inclusion, planet-first thinking, and new investment, for a better future for Creative R&D.
