  • Online

Emerging technologies, AI, the nation’s efforts on our journey to Net Zero, and rising demand for advanced software developments are driving major transformations in the Advanced Engineering and Manufacturing industries. CAD, Digital Design, Data Management, and the Fourth Industrial Revolution have revolutionised the sector.

Business West want to get your views on how you think these industries and their workforces are changing and how we can prepare for the future by shaping training provision towards the most important needs of business.

This interactive event will provide an industry update and involve a facilitated discussion on what your sector may need in the future to continue to thrive.

Attendees will also receive access to a list of relevant training and other opportunities in the region, as well as additional support available via the LSIP team to help you identify your own workforce needs and solutions to ensure your business reach its goals. To find out more about this please contact Business West at lsip@businesswest.co.uk.

Who can join?

This event is open to any business located in Gloucestershire, Swindon, Wiltshire and the West of England region (Bristol, Bath, North Somerset, BANES and South Gloucestershire) that wants to impact the skills their workforce will need in the future.

If you’re a training provider or regional partner and you’d like to get involved, please email Business West first at LSIP@businesswest.co.uk to discuss. These focus groups aim to collect business intelligence directly from businesses in the region, so event spaces for eligible businesses to the LSIP are prioritised . However, there may be some available spaces for partners and providers to join.
