SEE MONSTER’s impact on the town centre

North Somerset Council are commissioning independent research with businesses in
the town centre to find out what impact the installation has had on their business.
They’d like to find out if there has been any increase in sales, whether more people
have visited businesses, if there has been an increased interest in Weston as a
place to shop and visit, whether customers are coming from further afield to visit the
town, etc.

It’s important to understand what impact the installation has had on businesses in the
town centre to inform whether and to what extent any future installations and events
are supported – so response to the survey is important.

Please feed into the survey. You will be able to give your comments in a number of
ways. An email survey will be sent where email addresses are available (which will
also be compatible for mobiles) and hard copy questionnaires can be completed with
on-site fieldworkers. The BID and the Sovereign will help in distributing surveys too.
The researchers can also telephone businesses for a quick an easy way to give
feedback.

All personal details will be kept confidential and no comments will be attributed to
any individual.
