Megawatt Community Energy Fund

Grants of up to £4,000 are available for community projects that reduce carbon, raise climate awareness, or tackle fuel poverty across North Somerset and surrounding areas. The Megawatt Community Energy Fund uses profit from the business activity of Bristol Energy Cooperative and Low Carbon Gordano. Despite its relevance locally, relatively few organisations usually apply from North Somerset – so it would be great to see more interest this round. Make sure to check the eligibility criteria before applying and review the guidance carefully.
