Value of Artists – Creative Learning Resources Launch

Bath Spa University has commissioned five talented artists from across the West of England to create innovative creative learning resources that explore the role of artists in society.

These free educational resources have been designed to:

  • Support pupil wellbeing
  • Develop creative thinking skills
  • Expand knowledge and understanding of creative careers
  • Be inclusive and accessible to pupils with additional needs

The resources showcase the diverse career paths artists follow and the many ways they contribute to our communities – from work in education and climate action to health and wellbeing. They provide valuable tools for facilitators, teachers, and carers to help audiences explore ideas, themes, and concepts in unique and inspiring ways.

These resources will be distributed across Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire to schools and education providers, evidencing the value of art education and the career pathways it opens up.
