Funding Opportunity for North Somerset Charities in Creative Industries

18th July 2025

Charities and community organisations across North Somerset now have an opportunity to secure substantial funding through Amazon’s Regional Creatives Fund, designed to support career development in creative industries for underserved communities.

The fund is open to UK-registered charities currently running programmes that focus on skills training, confidence-building, and employment opportunities within creative sectors. Eligible creative fields include digital publishing, film and television, music, advertising, fashion, and gaming.

Two levels of grants are available:

  • Individual organisations can apply for grants ranging from £1,000 to £30,000. This funding can enhance existing programmes by adding new course modules, improving accessibility, or purchasing essential equipment and software.
  • Consortiums, involving three or more charities, can apply for up to £100,000 to expand their programmes regionally, foster collaboration, or extend their reach to new audiences, especially those in rural or traditionally underserved urban areas.

Additionally, successful applicants may receive pro bono support from Amazon professionals, offering mentoring, work experience, placements, and digital training.

Charities interested in applying must demonstrate proven impact, sound financial management, clear plans for funding use, and strong safeguarding practices. Amazon is particularly keen on supporting long-term partnerships rather than one-off projects.

Applications are open now and must be submitted by 31 August 2025. Winners will be notified by 15 September 2025, with funds distributed by the end of December 2025.

To apply or for more information, visit the Amazon Regional Creatives Fund website.
