North Somerset Creatives Network – July Meeting

Why come along?

If you want to sharpen your fundraising know-how, this session is for you. We’ll be joined by Isabel White, a local creative practitioner with more than 35 years’ experience in fundraising and development across the arts, heritage, environment, health and community sectors.

Isabel’s short course, Principles of Fundraising, breaks down the essentials:

1. The basics – how fundraising works

2. What do you need the money for? – shaping a clear case for support

3. How much do you need? – setting realistic targets

4. Where can you find it? – choosing the right funders

During the meeting, Isabel will offer free places on her online course (four × 90-minute sessions) to Network members, plus a copy of her accompanying book. You can register your interest on the day.

Representatives from Arts Council England (South West) will also outline current funding programmes and take your questions.

We’ll finish with our regular creative-sharing slot – please bring news of any projects, ideas or opportunities you’d like to share with the group.
