Visitor Economy and Hospitality Insight Days
27th February 2024
Find out why working in hospitality and the visitor economy is such a great move with interactive sessions at The Grand Pier and Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm!
Join the Economy Team from North Somerset Council and Visit Somerset on the 7th March for a morning at The Grand Pier and on the 14th March for a morning at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm for an insight into what it’s like to work in the visitor economy and what type of careers are available to you.
These events are open to everyone aged 16+ and are particularly aimed at any that feel that there is something stopping you from applying to roles in this industry.
If you have special educational needs, consider yourself too old, have recently settled in the UK, or simply have a lack of confidence, these sessions will assure you there is a role for everyone!
Both events will feature a brief presentation from Visit Somerset as well as a tour of the sites with the opportunity to chat with various employees from across each department.
