Final Call For Installers To Participate In Solar Together West Of England Group-Buying Scheme In Q4 2023.
19th July 2023
Installers interested in delivering high-quality residential installations in the West of England have until the 31 July 2023 to express an interest to participate.
The West of England Combined Authority in partnership with Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire councils will be working with independent experts iChoosr to deliver the Solar Together group-buying scheme in autumn / winter 2023.
The scheme is open to MCS accredited installers with the capacity to deliver a minimum of 250 installations in a six month period.
Solar Together offers installers unique access to a large volume of highly engaged customers for both solar installations and retrofit storage.
The scheme creates volume efficiencies for installers, which can be passed on to customers in the form of competitive pricing, whilst still allowing the installer to realise a sound profit.
How To Participate.
Solar Together is open for application to MCS accredited installers with sufficient capacity to deliver in a domestic scheme of this scale. To participate installers must qualify by demonstrating they meet the quality criteria. Qualified installers can participate in an auction by submitting pricing for the group of customers. Installers are allowed to pick their own brands, as long as they meet the pre-set quality criteria.
Installers have until 31 July 2023 to register their interest online at https://solartogether.co.uk/info/are-you-an-installer. After registration, they will be contacted regarding further steps.
Focus On Domestic Market.
With increasing focus on climate action and rising electricity prices solar remains a compelling option for the domestic market with increasing numbers of people opting to add storage to a system to maximise their grid-independence.
“Solar Together schemes have a proven track record and have helped installers across the UK grow and secure continuity of business in their region. More consumers than ever before are seeking to access quality solar and storage installation from a trusted supplier and are relying on Solar Together to help them navigate the market.”
Marie-Louise Abretti, Manager Solar Together.
