Co-funded Sustainability Training Opportunity for North Somerset Businesses
North Somerset-based businesses, employees and freelancers have a significant opportunity to benefit from co-funded training on Sustainability in Business, as part of the Skills for Life Skills Bootcamp programme.
The next course starts on 14th January 2026 and offers participants immersive training one day per week for 10 weeks, covering:
- Carbon accounting for Scopes 1, 2 and 3 reporting
- Climate science
- Reporting frameworks and ESG reporting
- Social sustainability
- Biodiversity and carbon markets
- Integrating business strategy for sustainability
The programme is designed to enable anyone with the ‘sustainability hat’ at work to integrate these principles into their business effectively.
Funded by the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority, the programme operates on a tiered pricing model dependent on the size of the business. The training is free for freelancers or self-employed participants.
