Free Job Support Service Expands Offer
The Employability Day is part of Opportunity North Somerset, the council’s free job support service funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).
It forms a new addition to the programme’s weekly drop-in employability sessions, held every Tuesday from 9.30am to 12.30pm at Weston Town Hall Library, where residents can access one-to-one support without an appointment.
Specialist advisers are available weekly to help with CVs, job applications, training recommendations, confidence building, and connecting jobseekers with local employers. The November Employability Day expands this offer, bringing multiple organisations into one space to give residents, especially care leavers, broader access to opportunities.
