Creative Health: UK & Ireland State of Sector Survey Now Open
23rd October 2025
The Culture, Health & Wellbeing Alliance has launched its comprehensive survey for everyone working, volunteering, or engaging with creative health across the UK and Ireland. This vital research aims to understand how creativity, arts, and culture support health and wellbeing in communities nationwide.
Who Should Take Part?
This survey is designed for anyone involved in creative health work, whether you’re employed, volunteering, or actively engaging with projects that use creativity, arts, and culture to support health and wellbeing outcomes.
The survey is available in both English and Welsh/Cymraeg to ensure maximum accessibility across all regions.
Survey Details
The comprehensive survey takes no more than 30 minutes to complete, with all questions being optional. Participants are encouraged to share whatever information they can, as every contribution is valuable for understanding the sector’s needs and opportunities.
Deadline: 5pm on Friday 31 October 2025
For those responding on behalf of an organisation, having your previous year’s accounts available will be helpful for income and earnings questions.
Win £250!
Participants who provide their email address at the survey’s end will automatically be entered into a competition to win £250, adding an extra incentive to contribute to this important research.
Data Protection and Anonymity
All contributions remain completely anonymous, with survey responses stored and processed in full compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations (2018). Participants should take care not to identify themselves in open questions.
The anonymised data will be shared with regional partners and may be analysed for publications and knowledge-exchange activities such as conferences. This approach ensures the research benefits the entire creative health community whilst maintaining participant privacy.

The research is funded by Arts Council England, whose Project Grants are now open again, providing fresh opportunities for creative health initiatives across the country.
Making a Difference
