How do you travel in North Somerset? North Somerset Council has launched its 2025 Transport and Travel Survey and is calling on everyone who lives, works, studies in – or regularly visits – the area to get involved. The short, mobile-friendly questionnaire asks how you travel today, what influences your choices, and what might help you choose cleaner, healthier ways to get around. Responses will feed into future-proofing the area’s transport network and shaping a more connected, accessible and sustainable future for residents and businesses alike.
Why your views matter
Understanding everyday travel habits and the barriers people face is vital to planning for growth, reducing congestion and cutting carbon emissions. Insights from the survey will guide a wider public conversation later this year about what a greener, healthier transport system for North Somerset should look like.
Who can take part
Anyone aged 18 or over who:
- lives in North Somerset
- works or studies here
- visits the area regularly (for example, for shopping, leisure or caring responsibilities)

The survey takes around 10–15 minutes to complete and is open until midnight on Sunday 17 August 2025 .
