Explore North Somerset is a networking and familiarisation event for Visitor Economy providers, businesses, and organisations across North Somerset.    

Join the Economy Team on Thursday, December 5th, for a morning at Tyntesfield for the next Explore North Somerset. 

At the event, we’ll explore the wonderful world of enhancing your business offer through events and what it means for the Visitor Economy. We will focus on how creating events can build new income streams and grow revenue while diversifying your audience and showcasing your offer.

Speakers and Panel

1. Speaker 1 – Paula James, Visitor Operations & Experience Manager,  National Trust Tyntesfield: Tyntesfield perspective on events and collaborating with other organisations. 

2. Speaker 2 – Dan Mills, Head of Commercial & Industry Engagement, Visit West: Visit West and Events – promoting Events through Visit West and using Events as part of media campaigns, PR purposes, listings, and seasonal themes.

3. Speaker 3 – Kelly Ballard, Visitor Elves, Marketing Specialist, and podcast host in the Visitor Economy: How to choose events that drive footfall and attract diverse audiences.

4. Panel discussion:  Why we created these events and what we have learned:

Following the speakers, there will be an opportunity to explore the Tyntesfield Christmas display, including a Carousel in front of the house, a Dickensian street scene in the chapel courtyard and familiar favourites, such as the Christmas trails.
