New Climate Funding Opportunities Open to Businesses

Could your business or community group benefit from climate-related funding or grants? Our Climate Emergency team have rounded up five opportunities that are currently receiving applications.

Clean Growth Fund

• The Clean Growth Fund consists of £20 million in government funding with a further £20 million to be provided by private investors. It will use private sector expertise to identify UK businesses operating in the clean growth technology sector and help to commercialise them at scale.

Climate Action Fund

• Grants are available for community-led partnerships in the UK to make changes in their community that they believe will have the biggest impact on climate change.
• Application deadline: Ongoing

Climate Action Fund – Energy and Climate

• Grants are available to local not-for-profit groups and partnerships for community-driven projects which address climate change while tackling energy challenges across the UK.
• Application deadline: Ongoing

Connected for Warmth 

• The Connected for Warmth programme installs heating and insulation measures into homes across Britain. The aim is to reduce energy bills, reduce carbon emissions and make homes comfortable.
• Application deadline: Ongoing

Barclays Targeted Green Trade Loans

• Funding to support the working capital needs of UK businesses and helping them to meet their environmental goals.
• Application deadline: Ongoing
