Intro to Grant Applications for Creatives @ Jubilee Loung, Clevedon – 23 Sept

9th August 2024

Understanding the full landscape of funding and grant opportunities for creatives and deciding on the best approach to take when putting together an application is no easy task!

This 1.5 hour in-person workshop has been specifically designed for North Somerset’s Creative Industries to provide targeted support on this topic and will help attendees identify appropriate options for their organisation and how best to develop their application.

There are many funding bodies who support the creative industries across the region. The largest and most well-known of which is Arts Council England (ACE). While they are most people’s first port of call when applying for arts grants, it should be remembered there are many other routes you can pursue – from individual trusts and funds though to support in kind from other arts organisations.

Through this session, attendees will gain valuable insights and practical knowledge to help navigate the grant/funding landscape and how best to take advantage of these opportunities.

This in-person interactive workshop will be led by George Densley, Arts Development Producer for Super Culture.
