Project Management Skills Bootcamps: Upskilling Employees

Weston College will deliver two cohorts of Project Management Skills Bootcamps, one to start in September 2024 and the second to start in January 2025. 

Suitable for individuals seeking to enhance their team’s skills, aligned with the Project Management (APM), Project Management Qualification (PMQ) and will reference the APM Book of Knowledge (BoK) 7th Edition.

Employers interested in enhancing the skills of their employees should take note of the following details:

Large employers are only required to make a 30% co-investment in the training costs, while SME’s are only required to make a 10% co-investment. The course will be conducted over a period of 10 weeks in a face-to-face setting, necessitating day-release for one day each week in central Bristol. This presents an excellent opportunity to enhance the skills of individuals, within your team, ultimately driving your business forward.

Course details: Skills Bootcamp in Project Management

Cohort 1 Course start: 13th September 2024 (2 week break in learning for half term 25th of October and 1st November)

Cohort 2 Course start: 10th January 2025 (1 week break in learning for half term 21st February)

Duration: 10 weeks

Cost for Large Employer: £681.75 per person (30% contribution towards the cost of training)

Cost for SME Employer: £227.25 per person (10% contribution towards the cost of training)

Delivery Location: Bristol Training Institute, 12 Colston Avenue, Bristol, BS1 1XH

Eligibility: Funding is ringfenced for Employers based in the West of England Combined Authority region of Bristol, Bath & North East Somerset, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.

Requirement: Employers to provide evidence after the Bootcamp to demonstrate how this individual’s development has impact the business and their individual progression / capability within the business.

Course Content: This course is suitable for employers to upskill their staff.  The course content is under pinned by the Association for Project Management (APM), Project Management Qualification (PMQ) and will reference the APM Book of Knowledge (BoK) 7th Edition.
