South West England Tourism Awards Now Open for Entry.

Exciting News! The Tourism Awards in South West England are now open for entry.
The awards are free to enter and are a great opportunity for businesses to make new connections, boost staff morale and recruit new staff. In an exciting development for the 2024/25 Awards the Bristol, Bath and Somerset scheme has been expanded and now also includes businesses based in Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.
All businesses are highly encouraged to enter for as many different awards as they feel they are eligible for, encouraging a thriving environment for smaller and larger businesses to do some essential networking, allowing them to share and receive feedback to help their businesses grow.
There are awards for:
- Accommodation
- Food and drink
- Wedding and business venues
- Unsung heroes
- Dog friendly
- New business
- Accessibility
- Sustainability
At this years South West Awards there will also be events, experiences, visitor information, attractions and new for this year is an International Tourism Award.

There are a number of awards to be won throughout the country which give successful businesses within their region the spotlight and award them In fields of expertise such as an Age Friendly Category in Bristol, Bath and Somerset, a Future of Hospitality Award in Dorset and in Cornwall a Wildlife Friendly Award.

Different schemes run in the region and entrants should select the one where their business, event or experience is located:
- BRISTOL, BATH AND SOMERSET (incorporating Wiltshire and Gloucestershire)
- CORNWALL AND ISLES OF SCILLY
- DEVON
- DORSET
With Wiltshire and Gloucestershire businesses now being included within the Bristol, Bath and Somerset scheme, the South West Regional programme is being discontinued. This means that for relevant categories the winners from each of the above county schemes could feed directly into the VisitEngland awards, thereby streamlining the process for national recognition.
