Support Local with Small Business Saturday – 2 Dec

16th October 2023

The Small Business Saturday campaign has grown significantly year on year encouraging millions to shop small and, now in its eleventh year in the UK, returns on 2 Dec!

What is Small Business Saturday?

Small Business Saturday UK is a grassroots, non-commercial campaign, which highlights small business success and encourages consumers to ‘shop local’ and support small businesses in their communities.

The day itself takes place on the first Saturday in December each year, but the campaign aims to have a lasting impact on small businesses.

What’s Happening in North Somerset?

In preparation for this year’s Small Business Saturday, North Somerset Council will run a promotional campaign to celebrate the fantastic selection of small businesses across our region.

The team will be going on tour to visit businesses in person to take a photo using our Small Business Saturday frame and collect unique stories, which will then be featured as promotional posts via our InNorthSomerset Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram throughout November.
