Carbon Literacy Action Day – Free Carbon Literacy Training In North Somerset
22nd September 2023
Are you looking for ways to reduce both financial and carbon costs of your organisation to do your bit to help tackle climate change and make North Somerset a healthier, happier and greener place to live and work?
Join us for our FREE Carbon Literacy training day on Monday 4 December 2023 at the Winter Gardens in Weston-super-Mare, to identify ways to make cost-saving decisions for your organisation which will also reduce its carbon footprint.
The training day is completely free (usual cost £125 per person), we have a fantastic line-up of guest speakers and by the end of the day your organisation could become an Carbon Literate Organisation (other conditions are required, but assistance and advice will be available from our team on the day, for full details on how to register your business see Become a CLO – The Carbon Literacy Project)
The Action Day is fully inclusive and open to all businesses, organisations and individuals, and on December 4th we will witness thousands of people from all walks of life, sectors, genders, ages and nations all around the world, participate and complete their days’ worth of Carbon Literacy training. The Carbon Literacy Project aims to train a total of 1000 individuals in a single day. However, in North Somerset, we aspire to surpass this target by focusing on providing training to 350 individuals solely within North Somerset, thereby making a valuable contribution to the global total. We have ambitions to make North Somerset a carbon literate area, would you like to help us achieve this?
The course is funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, see UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) | In North Somerset for more information.
Spaces are limited to 350 delegates so please sign up now to reserve your organisation’s places. Find out more and register your interest at www.n-somerset.gov.uk/carbonliteracy.
This is your chance to reduce business costs, understand the implications of climate change for your business and help create a greener, happier, healthier North Somerset.
