Iridescent Ideas deliver business support for social enterprises and charities across the UK to build stronger and more resilient organisations. They support new businesses to get established and existing ones to grow; helping find finance, develop business plans, and evaluate impact.
There are a number of courses available, including:
– Choosing the right structure for your organisation
A course that explains the common organisational forms that social enterprises, community projects and charities adopt. It covers the key features and concepts, pros and cons and real-life considerations, guiding you through the decision-making process and your next steps.
– Business Planning
Everything you need to know to write a successful business plan, including who and what your business plan is for, what to include and why, financial information, key people, your marketing strategy and what’s next.
– Social Impact
Prove it! How to measure the difference you make and use it effectively. This course will walk you through WHY, WHAT, and HOW to measure and manage your impact AND how to use this powerful information to help you develop your organisation or business and earn income.
– Social Investment, Funding & Finance
Everything you need to know about the different ways you can generate income for your business or organisation, what will work best for you and how to access it.
– Setting up a Community Interest Company (CIC)
This course will show you how to register your Community Interest Company. It provides advice and practical step-by-step support to guide you through the process and ensure you get your organisation up and running as quickly and easily as possible.
– Setting your vision, mission & Values
This course explores the defining features of social enterprise; how you put a vision and a mission at the heart of your business; how you create values for your organisation; and the financial purpose of how you make money.
– Setting up a Charity
This course will show you how to register your Charity. It provides advice and practical step-by-step support to guide you through the process and ensure you get your organisation up and running as quickly and easily as possible.
– How to refresh your Vision, Mission and Values
This course helps you explore or review the defining features of your organisation; the vision and mission at the heart of your business; how you define the values for your organisation; and the financial purpose of how you make money.
