North Somerset Schools and nurseries advised to re-open from Monday 8 June.

North Somerset Council has contacted all schools and nurseries in the area today to advise them that they should consider re-opening to wider groups of children from Monday 8 June.
Schools had been advised to stay closed for a further week following the recent outbreak of coronavirus cases at Weston General Hospital. Analysis of all North Somerset case data and contact tracing work since the beginning of May has shown there is no evidence of increased risk in the local population connected to the outbreak at Weston General Hospital, compared to other parts of the South West.
