Weston-based BCE, training and supporting Personal Care Assistants

Weston-based BCE, training and supporting Personal Care Assistants

Whilst the personal assistants could be friends, neighbours, family or people appointed following an advert and interview process, BCE will sit with both employer and personal assistant and develop a training package that meets the requirements of both parties to deliver the care and support that the employer needs as well as a recognised qualification for the personal assistant.

BCE recognise that people are experts in their own situation and ensure they’re involved at every step of the training process and wherever possible and desirable, the majority of the ongoing training takes place in the employer’s home.

Ongoing training and assessment is delivered by BCE who are a Skills for Care Endorsed training provider –  a mark of quality for the best learning and development providers within the adult social care sector which was developed following the Cavendish Review.  This endorsement allows employers to have confidence in the quality of the providers they seek.  BCE is also part of the Skills for Care, Care Learning Coalition.
