Rapid expansion for high-growth business Insight Data

Insight Data - a leading database marketing company that specialises in the construction industry - has moved from their Boulevard head-quarters to new offices on the Oldmixon Industrial estate in Weston-super-Mare to cater for their rapidly expanding staff numbers.

The new office gives Insight considerable room for future expansion and the opportunity to evolve into one of the regions major employers.

Managing Director Andrew Scott (pictured) comments; “Insight has grown 150% year on year and has gone from employing 3 people in 2007 to 14 in 2010.  We have recently attracted some major international clients and the new offices will allow us to continue our growth. By 2012, we expect to be employing over 100 people in research, technology and marketing positions cementing our position as one of Weston’s most successful businesses.”

Insight Data’s rapid growth was recently acknowledged by the North Somerset Enterprise Agency, who awarded them with the 2009 Business of the Year Award in a ceremony held at the Winter Gardens last October.

“We were delighted to scoop the North Somerset Business of the Year Award in October” says Andrew. “It was recognition for all our hard work and raised our profile in both the construction industry and the local area. We have used the award as part of our own marketing material and the kudos surrounding it has helped us attract new customers.

“We have a dynamic and creative technology team that is continually developing new and exciting database marketing products and services for our customers. This approach has helped us grow into one of the biggest marketing agencies in the construction industry and help us attract major blue-chip clients.”

Aside from technology, Andrew also places staff training as a major reason to Insight’s success. “A business is only as good as the people within it. We continue to invest heavily in training in every aspect of technology, marketing and personal skills development.

“There are a lot of talented people in Weston and my aim is to tap into this. At present a lot of people are forced to commute to places like Bristol and Taunton to find jobs in the areas they require. My aim is to grow Insight Data to such a level that we attract people back into Weston so they can develop their careers in the town rather than looking further afield. The new office is an important stepping stone in this plan and is the start of a new and exciting phase for the company.”
