Have your say on the next Joint Local Transport Plan

Funding for transport projects could be significantly reduced during the next few years so people are now being invited to have their say about what the priorities should be.

North Somerset Council is working with the three other West of England councils to update the Joint Local Transport Plan which was first published in 2006.

This follow-up will set out the transport-related goals for 2001 to 2026 and how they can be achieved. The initial draft of the new plan is now available for early opinion gathering and comment.

A questionnaire also launched this month to ask people what they think.

Visit www.transportmatters.org to view the documents and fill in the online questionnaire or pick up a paper copy from the Town Hall, Walliscote Grove Road, Weston-super-Mare BS23 1UJ or local libraries.

The deadline for responses is Monday 4 October 2010.
