Join us to tackle employment age barriers – be a Champion!

Prime Candidate has made great strides to raise awareness of the age inclusion agenda, aiming to encourage employer engagement and development of opportunities to ensure employers are enriched with the qualities and attributes of an age diverse workforce.

Prime Candidate work with regional and national companies in the South West. ‘Champion Age Diversity’ membership is the unique route to demonstrate and benefit from age awareness. Being a ‘Champion’ also aligns well with other areas of inclusion, such as a ‘Disability Confident’ and ‘Mindful’ responsive employer.

Prime Candidate has direct support from Parliament and the Lords, and is a national service provider for the DWP, providing employability support for candidates across the UK. With a seat on the DWP’s Age Action Alliance steering committee in Westminster, and accredited by SEUK (Social Enterprise UK), ‘Champion’ membership with Prime Candidate is the route to manage age diversity in the workplace.

And the timing is right, to become a ‘Champion’. The release of the Evidence Base 2017 report for age diversity, from the DWP’s Fuller Working Lives team, shows, and calls for action from employers. The report continues a focus on providing equal opportunities to retain, re-train and recruit, across an age diverse workforce, and ‘Champion Age Diversity’ is being recognised as the vehicle to demonstrate the criteria and behaviours required of a compliant organisation.

To become a ‘Champion’, and to use the ‘Champions’ mark, Steve Anderson, the Founder of Prime Candidate, would welcome you to contact him directly at: sanderson@primecandidate.org.uk
