BurleighPortishead is a design and print media communications business located in purpose-built premises in Portishead and was recently created as a result of the merger of Burleigh Press Ltd and Portishead Press Ltd.
Burleigh Press was established in Bristol over 100 years ago and moved to Portishead in 2006 when it built the 10,000 sq ft office and production facility where the firm is situated today. Portishead Press was founded in the town over 43 years ago and returned when the two firms merged in 2012. The company now employs 18 people, many of whom live in North Somerset.
The business offers a range of design, print production and direct mail fulfilment services to businesses and organisations in this region and further afield. Their main markets are in the small and medium-sized business sector, charitable and membership organisations as well as the education and schools sector. It specialises in offering clients an integrated design, print and direct mail service that fulfils all their visual communication requirements from one source.
The business remains true to its family origins and has an established reputation for providing a highly personal approach coupled with a high standard of professionalism, quality and advice. With both a creative design studio and extensive state of the art litho and digital printing facilities on site, BurleighPortishead is well equipped to take on a diverse range of projects ranging from a re-branding and business stationery to the detailed design and production for brochures, catalogues and magazines.
Managing Director, Greg Corrigan says “Our move to Portishead was one of the best decisions we have ever made. Our new location and fantastic premises have definitely helped us to attract new business and we now feel part of a fast growing new business community here. Being based in North Somerset has helped us to widen our horizons beyond Bristol and reach out to potential clients both north and south of the town – our location close to the motorway makes it easier for us to reach many of our clients and for them to visit us too – which they do often!"
